 Rurouni Kenshin (るろうに 剣心, Rurouni Kenshin?) Is a manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki. It was pre-published in the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump Shueisha editor between 1994 and 1999, and has been compiled into a total of twenty-eight volumes. The French version was published in full by Glénat.
It was adapted into an animated 95 episodes as well as animation. In addition, a series of four OAV tells Kenshin's past, and explains in particular the cross-shaped scar on his cheek present. A second series of FVO concluded that adaptation. These OAV differ by their blackness, the original manga. The series, the FVO and the animation are available in French at Dybex. A live film is also released in August 2012.
