Naruto is better, No one piece is the best... this is most of the debates we heard about this last decades, the fan of the two series made it clear that each one is better then the other and this is not logic, and seriously i got tired of this, so do you knew how much do those two series look alike:
1. Protagonists
We saw a lot-have of great personality in the character of Naruto and Luffy. Both of Them have proven to be worthy of respect and just based on Their fighting prowess and Their Ability to win facing possible odds.
2. The Key Person
What They had done totally changed the way the main character Grew up.
3. The Brother
In Both of the anime, the protagonist(in naruto sasuke can be considered us the second naruto) Had a brother That Would Even loved them and die for them.
4. The Father
Apparently Luffy and Naruto Were not normal teenagers Without Any background As They Looked to be. In fact They Had a Powerful father and both of them are considered as once of the most powerful once in the anime world.
5. The Team
Being a team of greatness, these guys-have quarrels and fights Even, what purpose They Have Overcome Them together make a life-time friends Who Will sacrifice for each other Without Any hesitation.
6. The War
Each anime has his own war.
7. the spectacular death
Each one has his part of sadness the death of the two brothers aside, jiraya and shirohigue deaths really moved more then one
8. The dream
You need to have a dream and naruto & luffy understand that, when other characters switch their dreams all the time, naruto and luffy steak to their owns and did not change it, thats how it should be.
After that will you really tell me that those two don't look alike really dude's.
